Earl Taylor

My grandfather on my dad's side passed away on February 2, 2011. The services were last Monday and it was great to celebrate his fullfilled life and visit with family. Here is his eugoogley.

Here is a list of random things I will always remember about Grandpa Taylor:

-bird watching
-him sitting in his office doing geneology when we'd arrive
-catching my first fish and putting them in a frito's bag
-excessive food supply
-pancake breakfasts
-polishing rocks
-trips to apple hill and eating KFC on the park benches
-telling me he was proud of me
-saying, "Great Scott Alice!"
-his pond and the goldfish and mosquitos in it
-watching TV with him in the recliners and falling asleep
-when he told me he read the Book of Mormon 13 times so far that year
-his voice and his clear anunciation
-how he loved and missed Aunt Becky and cried whenever she came up
-big hugs
-his smile

He was to me an example of enduring in faith until the end of mortality. I will miss him until we meet again.

So great! A man true to his faith 100%. I love how he always would say "I love you." or "Oh how I love you". Always makes you feel good to hear those words:-) Thanks Ry....it was great to see you!!

you had a great relationship with him - he loved you the same as another son! he knew you loved and were interested in him, so he loved you back. funny how that works :) way to go!
