I stumbled upon some awesome Plato quotes here and wanted to share some regarding love. See previous posts along the same lines.
- "You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation."
- "Love is a serious mental disease."
- "The madness of love is the greatest of heaven's blessings."
- "Love is the pursuit of the whole."
- "…if a man can be properly said to love something, it must be clear that he feels affection for it as a whole, and does not love part of it to the exclusion of the rest."
- "You're my Star, a stargazer too, and I wish that I were Heaven, with a billion eyes to look at you!"
- "Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet."
This last quote reminds me of August Rush. Its kinda sappy, but I kinda loved it. Check Netflix to watch instantly.
